The permits will allow for events such as wine tastings, a festival, and a Lebanese dinner dance. Father Root detailed each event’s schedule and assured the board of compliance with regulations, noting the church’s history of trouble-free events.

Additionally, the board granted a single-day permit to St. George’s Church, which plans to use St. Anthony’s facilities for an event in March 2026. Despite the absence of St. George’s representatives, Father Root vouched for the sister parish, confirming their adherence to the same rules.

Santo Cristo Parish also received permits for their two-day annual feast in June, with the board approving the specified hours after verifying the details on the application.

The Belmont Club was given an extension of operating hours for St. Patrick’s Day, allowing them to open earlier than usual to serve traditional food and beverages. This request was approved without opposition.
