After a thorough deep cleaning over Labor Day weekend and subsequent air quality tests, the media center was deemed safe and reopened. In regard to school safety and student conduct, the board reviewed the Student Safety Data System (SSDS) report for the second reporting period. The report detailed various incidents across schools, including confirmed instances of harassment, intimidation, and bullying (HIB). Public participation was invited to discuss the report, though no comments were made.

Additionally, the board ratified the Freehold Township Education Association (FTEA) agreement. Members also discussed the implementation of high-impact tutoring for ESL, reading, and math students, funded by state allocations. This program will take place during school hours to improve student attendance and learning outcomes.
