At the recent Gardner Planning Board meeting, a preliminary site plan for the Pearl Street subdivision sparked discussion. The proposed development consists of 46 units, initially presented as quadplexes but now revised to duplexes under an open space residential development plan. This change allows for a reduction in road length by 500 feet and increased open space. However, the board noted that the open space must meet the requirement of 50% upland area. The developer, represented by Dan Shim, will present the preliminary plan at a public hearing on March 10th. The board will further evaluate the upland area compliance with local regulations.
