Other topics included public hearings on three ordinances related to property easements and amendments to rental housing and zoning regulations. No public comments were made regarding these ordinances, and they were subsequently adopted with council members voting in favor, except for Councilman Andrew Halter, who abstained from voting on one of the ordinances (24-20).

The council also approved a consent agenda with several resolutions, including authorizing a cooperative purchasing agreement and execution of collection location reports, among others. Councilman Timothy D. Brown abstained from a vote on one of the resolutions (20224).

The meeting also touched on operational matters such as financial reports and updates from various departments. Councilman Brown acknowledged receipt of financial reports for June, and Councilwoman Deanna L. Garlic reported on park and recreation matters. Updates on ongoing construction projects were provided, including progress on housing developments, retail space, and municipal infrastructure improvements.

Public comments raised concerns about the proposed 322 bypass and the need for additional public meetings to discuss the project. A local resident also raised a safety concern regarding a stop sign issue which the council agreed to investigate.

The council concluded with administrative remarks, including the significant passage of an ordinance intended to prevent the construction of homes with more than five bedrooms outside of two designated overlay districts. This measure aims to preserve the character of residential neighborhoods by restricting the development of properties that could potentially be used as dormitories.
