Financially, the library’s collaboration with neighboring libraries was highlighted. By pooling resources with Two Harbors, Silver Bay, and Grand Rapids public libraries, the Grand Marais Library benefits from a shared subscription to “Book Pages,” a publication that informs patrons about new books. This shared subscription reduces costs and enhances service offerings for library users.
