The meeting also covered the upcoming “Holidays in Halifax” event, scheduled for December 13th. In other discussions, the board approved the implementation of an “Adopt an Island” program proposed by the Beautification Committee. This initiative invites businesses, families, or entities to maintain and decorate traffic islands throughout the town.
