The respondent explained that delays were due to the holiday season and issues with the electrical contractor. The commission granted an extension of 21 days to resolve the permits, with a potential fine of $250 per day if the violation persists past the deadline.

The commission also reviewed a case concerning multiple expired permits at a property on South Ocean Boulevard. Despite no contact from the property owner or contractor, the town provided a 14-day window to rectify the situation, again with a $250 per day fine looming if compliance is not achieved.
