Affordable housing legislation was another focal point of the council’s discussion, highlighting the township’s stance in engaging with state legislators. The announcement of the addition of 402 acres to the township’s open space and the initiation of bidding for two liquor licenses also came up in the talks. The police department took the opportunity to remind residents to take precautions against personal property and identity theft, particularly in their vehicles, and to adjust their clocks for daylight saving time.
