Another topic was the Crawford Hill Redevelopment plan, which outlines a vision for a redevelopment project area featuring a range of permitted uses, including indoor recreation, general business, and medical offices. Notably, the plan prohibits residential use within the redevelopment area. Council members inquired about the types of businesses allowed, especially the absence of light manufacturing and the possibility of buildings housing multiple principal uses. The council voiced support for the proposed uses.

The meeting also touched upon the Heavenly Estates subdivision, involving a request to subdivide two existing lots into 15 residential lots and additional open spaces. However, the council did not hear this item and it was carried over to the next scheduled meeting with discussions about potentially adjusting the date to suit the applicant’s team’s availability.
