Another community member, Jesse Crer, sought clarification on the variance process, particularly regarding any future changes to the property’s use. The board clarified that any significant alterations would require a new variance process.

A motion was made to approve the variance based on the testimony and evidence provided that the request met all the standards for a variance as outlined in the land development code. The motion was seconded, and the board voted unanimously in favor of the variance.

The meeting also included an update on another variance case for a property on North 7th Avenue. However, due to an advertising error, the case was postponed to a future board meeting scheduled for June 4th.
