The boys’ ice hockey team, under the guidance of Coach Jeff Mein, was celebrated for its triumph in winning a state title and advancing in the county cup. Coach Mein highlighted the team’s dedication, noting, “Our goal every year is to try and improve,” and commended the players for their consistent effort and improvement. The players from the Kinnelon team, including Stefan Filawitz, Matt Stack, and others, were specifically acknowledged for their contribution to this success.

The bowling team received similar recognition, despite Coach Souls’ absence. The team was lauded for securing back-to-back conference championships and achieving a high ranking during the season. Notably, Zack Kesler’s perfect 300 game was highlighted. Other team members, like Jonathan and Michael Sprag, were also honored for their all-county achievements.

In addition to athletics, the meeting celebrated academic and extracurricular achievements. The high school’s achievements extended beyond academics, with students excelling in music, arts, and community service.

The board also acknowledged the contributions of students involved in the National Arts Honor Society and those recognized for the Keel Koala Kindness awards.
