The project is expected to generate over $50,000 annually in taxes for the city and create approximately 40 jobs, benefiting local residents. National Grid’s representative presented two petitions regarding the installation of underground conduits. The first sought approval for Essex Street near Newbury Street, while the second targeted Lowell Street near Hampshire Street.
