The council approved a resolution to honor five Lawrence soldiers interred in the North Africa American Cemetery. In addition to the resolution, the council addressed multiple parking-related issues, such as the establishment of handicap parking spots and the removal of others. The council considered a 30-minute parking proposal on Jackson Street and resident parking zones in the B2 Ley School area.
