A representative from the Lower Township Historic Preservation Commission elaborated on public misconceptions about the commission’s responsibilities, clarifying that while they informally assist with maintenance by picking up trash, they are not responsible for the Foster House or the Fishing Creek School. The commission expressed a desire to stay informed on the township’s plans to better address public inquiries.

In other matters, the meeting included the first reading of an ordinance to establish the duties of a Deputy Manager, as well as the tabling of a salary and benefits ordinance pending further revisions. Additionally, a resolution ratifying an agreement with the Lower Township Supervisors Union was passed without public or council comment.
