Dan Moore from academic services clarified that the club would only have access to specific reports generated by the district’s Educational Technology team, with strict limitations on exploratory access. This was followed by the approval of the YMCA as the provider for the teen parent program’s childcare services, with a board member recusing herself from the vote due to her position on the YMCA board.

Further discussions included the need for a revised evaluation tool for assessing the superintendent’s performance. An initial calculation error regarding the percentage of schools rated as A’s and B’s was corrected, adjusting the representation to 80%. The board recognized the need for an updated tool that better captures student subgroup progress and accurately reflects district achievements, such as the record-high graduation rate. A consensus was reached to present the revised tool at an upcoming workshop for further refinement.

The meeting also featured updates on new administrative appointments, with the superintendent introducing several newly hired assistant principals, coordinators, and directors. The board welcomed these new staff members enthusiastically, acknowledging their future contributions to the district.
