In project updates, the Indigenous sculpture installation is now complete, and efforts are underway to translate the artist’s project statement into the artist’s native language for signage. This sculpture will be included in the Moorhead Sculpture Walk, with city staff coordinating the addition of recommended plantings.

The historical video series also saw progress, with its first episode ready for debut. Options for its release include a public event or distribution through local media channels. Prairie Public Broadcasting is reviewing the series for potential airing.

The commission is also looking forward to a $3,750 allocation for downtown streetlight banners in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, with plans to solicit designs in January.
