Brian Senyk expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him to continue as Board President, emphasizing a commitment to collaboration with Superintendent Michael Portas, administration, and teachers to enhance student achievement. Danielle Esposito, noted for her experience as a teacher and administrator, was re-elected as Vice President. Her skills were recognized as a valuable asset to the Board’s operations.

The meeting featured the swearing-in of new and returning Board members. Christina Aio joined the Board for her first term, while Joseph Blumert and Brian Senyk were re-elected. Each member took an oath to uphold the Constitution and fulfill their duties to the best of their abilities.

During the meeting, committee appointments were announced for the upcoming term. Joseph Blumert was appointed to chair the FFA Committee, supported by Vincent Pompeo and Christina Aio. The PMC Committee will be chaired by Cara Shenton, with Sam Ciresi and Timothy Gitin as members. Danielle Esposito will lead the CIS Committee with support from Sam Ciresi and Greg MacSweeney. The Policy Committee will be chaired by Greg MacSweeney, including Cara Shenton and Christina Aio. The Board Effectiveness Committee will be led by Megan Dempsey, joined by Vincent Pompeo and Christina Aio.

Community involvement was acknowledged with public comments highlighting appreciation for the Board’s efforts. The dedication event for the Ruth Kellett Gym was particularly noted as a highlight, celebrating the legacy of Ruth Kellett in promoting women’s athletics in Morris County.
