For the inbound role, Samuel Koops was selected due to his aspiration to become a brewmaster and the opportunity presented by the local Schell Brewing Company, which expressed willingness to host and train him. This match was seen as a unique opportunity for a specialized exchange experience, aligning with both Koops’ career goals and the community’s cultural heritage.

In addition to the exchange program, the commission discussed the 2025 German Language Day Camp. Organizers are working to finalize dates and resources, with a decision pending further discussion. Additionally, the commission addressed the possibility of hosting a fundraising event at Cashwise, and a member volunteered to coordinate dates for the brat stand fundraiser.
