As a result, the property owners were ordered to bring the water drainage system into compliance within 30 days, with a daily fine of $250 to be imposed should they fail to meet this deadline.

A recurring theme throughout the meeting was the enforcement of regulations regarding business tax receipts (BTR) and certificates of use (CU). In another case, the magistrate reviewed a violation involving an unpermitted efficiency living unit constructed on Northwest 134th Street. The magistrate set a compliance deadline of May 18, 2026, with a $500 daily fine for any continued non-compliance.
