In another segment, the Solid Waste division was represented, discussing the city’s recycling initiatives. The conversation focused on educating new residents about recycling practices and addressing the common issue of non-recyclable items being improperly disposed of in recycling bins.

The meeting also addressed the city’s engagement in Parks and Recreation Month with a proclamation recognizing the value of community parks and recreation services in promoting health, wellness, and environmental stewardship.
