Ray Bider was elected as the new president of the council, succeeding Craig Wilhelm. In his remarks, Bider expressed hopes for a successful year characterized by growth and transparency. The council members congratulated him on his new role, with one member specifically thanking him for his service the previous year and expressing optimism about the council’s productivity in 2025.

The council also addressed several resolutions, including the appointment of various coordinators and directors for municipal roles, such as the purchasing agent and human resource director. Notably, a resolution authorizing a contract for the redevelopment of well number five at the cost of $94,500 was approved.
