Revere City Council Grants Special Permit for Festive Sleigh Ride Event

Morales shared her story, highlighting the challenges she faced, including discrimination and personal losses. Her daughter expressed gratitude and emphasized the importance of support for those with epilepsy.
The council also paid tribute to long-serving members by placing their names and years of service on the legislative bench within the chamber. Ward 2 Councilor Ira Novoselsky was recognized for 26 years of service, At-Large Councilor Anthony T. Zambuto for 25 years and three months, and Ward One Councilor Joanne McKenna for ten years and seven months. The Janino and Haas families were acknowledged for their contributions to the council, with applause from the audience.
Outgoing Councilor Juan Pablo Jaramillo was honored for his dedication and contributions during his tenure. A fellow council member reflected on the collaborative efforts with Jaramillo, expressing gratitude for their friendship and wishing him well in future endeavors.
