In the realm of local media, the Roseland Jersey Access Group was commended for its award for excellence in broadcasting, which was won with a 30-second highlight clip of the Hometown Christmas celebration.

On the legislative front, the council tackled various ordinances. Three new ordinances were introduced, concerning the conduct in parks and recreation areas, amendments to property maintenance fees, and adjustments to a bond ordinance. During the public hearings for these ordinances, the council members addressed concerns from residents. A noteworthy point of clarification was made regarding ordinance 10222, which dealt with the reappropriation of funds that would ensure the acquisition of a fire engine, despite its increased cost.
