The board expressed a desire to collaborate with the Finance Committee to identify additional necessary categories.

The board also addressed fiscal year 2026 municipal transfers, prompted by overages in legal spending and other budgetary concerns. A $13,610 transfer covered expenses related to the transition between the previous and current town administrators, sourced from unspent Medicare town share funds. In other business, the board approved a three-year contract for the interim town administrator, Mr. Kieran. The contract includes bonus opportunities tied to the successful completion of training.
