The council approved resolutions endorsing the township’s affordable housing plan and expressing intent to fund a 120-unit affordable housing rental development. The project is planned for block 213.01, lots 95 and 96, as part of the township’s compliance with its fourth round of affordable housing obligations.

In addition to housing developments, the meeting included the promotion of several police officers. Lieutenant Anthony Delaso was promoted to the rank of police captain, while Sergeant Eric Cam and Sergeant Ryan Brennan were both elevated to the rank of police lieutenant. Officers Michael Hagner and Detective Chase Waldman were promoted to police sergeant. These promotions were recognized with a swearing-in ceremony, and council members expressed their appreciation for the officers’ service and dedication to the community.

The council also authorized a shared services agreement to provide police services to the borough of Gibbsboro.
