Bubble Day, which began as part of a national effort by Faces for Autism to set a world record for the most bubbles blown, continues to thrive due to the dedication of the school community and local supporters. The event was marked by a presentation to honor Lenny Preston, who was instrumental in making Bubble Day a staple of the school’s calendar. A plaque was presented to Donna Preston, recognizing Lenny’s invaluable contributions and the enduring impact she had on the community.

Mayor John E. McCormac was present to express appreciation for the collaborative efforts of the school staff, local fire and police departments, and community members. The mayor emphasized the importance of such events in fostering a spirit of inclusion and community support. Assemblyman Craig Coughlin also attended.
