Countryside Properties LLP’s application (case number 05-22) for primary and final site plan approval, along with a D variance for proposed multifamily residential buildings on Old York Road, was deferred after an email from the attorney’s office requested a rescheduling due to the attorney’s illness. The email also provided an extension of time for the board to act on the application through August 31, 2024. In response to this delay, the board suggested asking for a further extension until October 31, 2024.

Similarly, the application for Hunterdon Storage (case number 08-22) seeking a D variance for outdoor vehicle storage at an existing facility located on Highway 202/31 South was also postponed due to the same attorney’s health issue. The board decided that since the delay was significant, they would request an extension for this application as well, pushing the deadline to October 31, 2024.

The board also addressed routine matters such as approving the absence of two members, adopting the 2023 annual report, which detailed another busy year with 23 scheduled meetings and 32 applications, and approving the meeting minutes from a closed session on April 18, 2024.

The board clarified that the hearings are scheduled for July 18th and August 1st, and the October date was in reference to the board’s decision-making timeframe.
