The absence of a police report following the incident, contrary to established rules, raised further concerns about the management’s competence. The board expressed deep concerns regarding the management’s judgment, with one member stating, “This woman in my opinion is lucky to be alive,” based on the evidence presented. The board agreed to closely monitor the establishment’s activities moving forward.

In another notable discussion, the board addressed Za a KF L LLC, doing business as Garis Columbia, concerning two separate incidents. The first involved an assault and battery between an employee and a patron on June 22, 2024. After reviewing the video and staff explanations, the board found no violation but called for standard correspondence regarding de-escalation practices. The second incident, a bottle service violation on August 18, 2024, resulted in a second written warning due to the establishment’s repeated infractions. The board expressed concern over the ambiguity in the establishment’s attempts to use a different bottle, ultimately concluding that a violation had indeed occurred.
