The project, which excludes additional alternates for sidewalks and lighting, is part of ongoing streetscape improvements and is anticipated to align with the town’s 250th anniversary celebrations.

The council also focused on community safety, highlighting increased scam sophistication affecting residents. An example involved a fraudulent email presenting itself as an official town communication. In response, a presentation on preventing scams and deed fraud is scheduled, featuring Detective Smith, who will address these issues to enhance community awareness.

Other community events and developments were also discussed. A successful 75th annual Easter egg hunt was reported with no injuries, and camp registration was progressing well.
