The board celebrated several student accomplishments. Four students from Chatham Middle School were chosen for the New Jersey All-State Choir, and the Chatham High School golf team won the Morris County Golf Tournament, with Roger Rice earning the individual title. Additionally, the Chatham High School academic team claimed first place at a recent tournament in Middletown.

A comprehensive report on the graduating class of 2025 highlighted that 94% of students are continuing to four-year universities. The report detailed college application trends, revealing that students submitted an average of 9.8 applications each and achieved a mean acceptance rate of over 53%. Notably, nearly half of the applications were submitted through early action programs.

The meeting also acknowledged the efforts of teachers and counselors in supporting students’ educational and career planning.
