In a unanimous decision, the board opted to continue with its existing legal and engineering teams. The motion to retain the professionals passed with affirmative votes from all members present.

Jack Peterson’s election as chair was another key highlight of the meeting. Peterson, whose nomination received enthusiastic support, will now assume leadership responsibilities for the board.
