In addition to this announcement, the meeting was filled with acknowledgments of student achievements across various disciplines. Among the students celebrated were Bryce, a fifth grader noted for his growth and perseverance, and Carson, a fourth grader recognized for his positive attitude and improvement. The board also recognized Emma, chosen for a STEM program, and Joseph, honored for his artwork in a contest. Eighth-grader Tyler was acknowledged for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, with a project benefiting a local church pantry. High school athletes Fernando and Liy were celebrated for breaking a school record in pole vaulting and excelling in discus throwing, respectively. Catherine, the high school valedictorian, was also commended for her acceptance into the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to study nuclear engineering.

The program also funded structured learning supplies for Miss Adams and Miss McCarron, a school store incentive system at Regional Day School, and emotional management teaching resources for Ridgeway Elementary’s preschool program. Mrs. Palmer received funding for a Math Olympiad program, while other staff secured support for attendance incentives and library programs involving STEM equipment and robots.

A board representative explained a new agreement with Shore District Advertising, intended to generate revenue through signage on athletic fields, assisting with transportation and athletic costs. Further discussion involved an agreement with the Ocean Educational Services Commission for instructional special education, with a board member seeking details on staffing processes.
